Third Grade Goals
Students will be able to identify literary elements by using background knowledge.
Students will be able to sequence a story my summarizing what they read.
Students will be able to write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events by using effective techniques, descriptive details, and clear event sequences.
Students will be able to apply addition and subtraction patterns learned in order to fluently add and subtract numbers within 1,000.
Students will be able to investigate and then explain how balancing forces seem to defy logic.
Students will be able to show how culture, geography, and history shape a community. Students will compare and contrast different communities using diagrams, reports and or presentations.
