Principal, Robert Marino

Hello P.S. 120 Community! Contrary to the common student misconception that I was born, raised and still live at P.S. 120, I was actually born in Manhattan way back in the 1970s. I lived in Brooklyn for a short while before my family moved to Queens where I attended public school. I graduated from Queens College and spent my entire career as an educator in both Woodside and here in Flushing at beautiful P.S. 120Q. When I'm not working with the amazing students and staff of our wonderful school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Cara; our three children, Kelly, Lauren and Robert; and our two dogs, Cliffy and Wilma. We enjoy nature, travel, attending Met and Ranger games, watching funny movies, and playing an outdoor game called "Geocaching" where we search the globe for hide and seek containers called "caches."

Assistant Principal, Christine Ambrose

Although I currently reside in Manhattan, I was born and raised in Suffolk County Long Island, so I consider myself a Long Islander at heart! Prior to securing my first teaching job I worked as a Paraprofessional for children with Autism. Following my work as a Paraprofessional, I worked in Syosset, NY and District 1 in Manhattan as a Special Education Teacher for a total of 8 years. I am a proud graduate of SUNY Cortland and C.W. Post Long Island University, and received advanced certificates in School Building and School District Leadership from CUNY Hunter College. In my free time, I enjoy reading with my son Conor, baking, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends, including my dog Madison.

Assistant Principal, Serena Forzaglia

While originally from the Bronx, and now living in Westchester, some of my proudest moments have been spent in Queens. I spent 8 years teaching English Language Arts in District 30, before having the privilege to serve the students and families of Flushing by joining the PS 120 community in 2015 as an Assistant Principal. I am a proud graduate of Manhattan College and CUNY Hunter College, and received advanced certificates in School Building and School District Leadership from the College of Saint Rose. In my free time, I love hanging out at home with my family and my two cats Hoagie and Ralphie, cooking, practicing yoga, and finding ways to be creative through photography and sewing.

Assistant Principal, Jacqueline Momoh

I come from Missouri and called several places "home" (St. Louis, Southern California, Berlin) before moving to NYC - the greatest city on earth! I am a proud graduate of Pomona College, the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant program, CUNY- Lehman College, and Bank Street College of Education. During my travels and studies I developed a passion for language learning and working with diverse families from all over the world. I taught English as a New Language for 9 years in the Bronx and Queens before becoming an Assistant Principal at P.S. 120 in 2015. I feel fortunate and honored for this opportunity to serve the P.S. 120 community and learn alongside our Dragons each day! Outside of school, I enjoy meeting up with friends, being active outdoors, and spending time with my two little boys.
